Directions to reach Les Donnington

Guests can easily reach Rochefoucauld from either of the airports Angouleme-Cognac, Poitiers or Limoges. Guests are advised to use the internet travel routes (e.g. AA or Michelin) for directions.

From Rochefoucauld take the D13 east to Montemboeuf. It is an open road, straight for the most part but with the occasional bend and small hamlet to pass through. After about 15 minutes drive you will see a sort of cross- roads with the turning to the right signed posted to Le Lindois and to the left sign posted to Montemboeuf on the D16. Take this road and in about 5 minutes you will be in the centre of the village.

Before getting there you will pass a cemetery on your right hand side. Immediately thereafter on your left hand side there is a minor road called Maquis Bir Hacheim (with a small garage on the corner) If you miss it and pass a primary school on your left you will have to do a U turn and come back.

Turn down this minor road and go for about 100/150 yds and Les Donnington with its hedge surrounds and double gates is on the right hand side. Park inside.

Many Guests drive down through FRANCE and enjoy the countryside on route. Roads are good from whichever Channel Port is used. Again, use the internet travel routes (e.g. AA or Michelin) for directions and which best suit your tastes for 'stops offs' or 'detours' for points of interest. Drive time from the coast to Montemboeuf is around 6 hours.
